The corner of the gutter had reached the point where it was no longer handling runoff properly, and the downspout needed attention as well. Instead of trying to patch a section that was already giving trouble, we replaced the affected corner and downspout and reconnected the drainage properly. The finished work gave the roof runoff a cleaner path away from the property and removed the damaged section that was causing the issue.
This roof had damage that went below the visible shingle surface. Once the affected area was opened up, the roof decking also needed to be addressed before new shingles could properly go back on. We repaired the damaged deck and replaced the affected shingles, taking care of the underlying problem instead of simply covering it with another layer of roofing material.
Water showing up around a skylight does not always mean the skylight itself is the problem. The flashing around the opening is one of the first places we look when water is getting underneath the roof. On this project, the work centered on the flashing and the surrounding roof area. We repaired the affected section so the skylight and roofing could work together as they were supposed to, rather than leaving a weak point around the opening.

A chimney can become a weak point on an otherwise sound roof, especially where the masonry, flashing, and roofing meet. On this project, the chimney area needed attention rather than leaving the worn section to continue exposing the roof to water. We repaired the affected chimney area and addressed the roof-to-chimney connection so the surrounding roofing was properly finished. The result was a repaired chimney area with the flashing and adjacent roof working together to help keep water out where it belongs.
The ridge is an important part of the roof, and the work there is not simply about making the top line look finished. The ridge and ventilation components need to be properly integrated with the roofing around them. On this project, we repaired the affected ridge area and addressed the ventilation detail at the same time, leaving the upper section of the roof properly finished rather than just covering the visible damage.
The roof edge is where the roofing and drainage system meet, so problems in that area can quickly turn into water-management problems. On this project, both the tile roof edge and the gutter area needed to be reconstructed. We rebuilt the affected sections and worked the gutter back into the roof edge so runoff could move from the roof into the drainage system without leaving an obvious weak point along the edge.
